My lights are not working

Please check the lamp for failure and also ensure the lamp switch is on. This could also be issues with the lamp assembly, choke or PCB controlling lights, in these cases please call Hotpoint customer service on 0818 313 413


My cooker hood does not operate

Please follow the below checklist to rectify the issue:

  • Check electrical connection switched on
  • Check fuse has not blown
  • Ensure the speed switch is selecting a speed
  • Ensure door is open on integrated models

Poor extraction or airflow

If you get poor airflow or extraction from your cooker hood it is likely to be an issue with the vent hose or a simple case of the filters being blocked, please check all the items below:

  • For extraction mode check vent hose or adaptor is not kinked or blocked
  • For recirculation mode ensure carbon filters do not need replacement
  • For both extraction and recirculation modes check grease filters are clean
  • Check ducting change over lever in correct position
  • Ensure there is sufficient room ventilation
  • Ensure correct speed selected
